5 stars for their pambazos and their salsas, the green and the chile oil or salsa macha! When I had Cielito Lindo, I thought to myself, "finally!" Go for a hike at Lands End and then share a pambazo with someone you love you will feel good about your choices all around!

We got the set of 4 quesabirrias and it was perfect for a light meal for 2! They were nice enough to split the soup into 2 portions for us as well. It was on the pricier side but I loved the tacos, not something you can find easily at other taco places. Nice little restaurant with ample seating. The bathroom cleanliness was a bit questionable though...

Every time this place hits the spot. Love this place for their quesabirria tacos and pambazos. Super flavorful and juicy. The torta is also good, just can seem a bit dry in comparison to their other items. You order at the front and they'll bring out the food to you. One time we came near closing and they were kind enough to still let us dine in after their closing hours!

We came here for brunch and it's easily one of my favorite Mexican places in San Francisco. The chilaquiles were the stand-out item. There was a good amount of heat and flavor in their tortillas, and it made for such a perfect bite...the tortillas, the rice, refried beans, egg and guacamole. Absolutely incredible flavors. The breakfast burritos were also fire. We got it with the chorizo and it was also fantastic when paired with their green salsa. It's on the oilier side but personally I didn't mind it, given the flavors came together so well. The Mexican coffee was also great (note that Mexican coffee tends to have sugar and spices e.g. cinnamon), so order it and don't expect an American cup of coffee. Definitely a no-frills kind of place but very friendly service.

My friend and I check this restaurant, it's a bit pricey but they're big portions. -Quesabirria is delicious bigger than my hands ahah which is good. I only ate two pieces and got full. I love how crunchy it was. -Torta was good, filled with bunch of meat and big portion too. -Horchata was good too so much flavor. It was a great place and delicious. We will come back.

I'd been wanting to try Cielito Lindo for a very long time, so when a friend asked where we should go for lunch, I was excited to suggest this place! I'd read about their quesabirria tacos, so that's what I ordered. My friend ordered two tacos, chicken and beef. My quesabirria tacos were delicious, but a bit on the oily side. They had such deep flavor and the consomme that came with it was complex and rich. I might just pour it over some noodles if I don't use all of what I brought home! The quesabirria tacos were huge! I'm generally a good eater, but I could only finish one; I have the other one waiting for me for lunch today and I'm certainly looking forward to it! My friend's two tacos were tiny in comparison, like street tacos. They came with two different salsas, one green and one that looked like it was with roasted chiles. She said they were good but the beef was a bit on the dry side. We each also had the pineapple agua fresca and we both loved it. Not too sweet and tasted so fresh. I usually only drink water with my meals, but the next time I go, I'll be sure to order whatever agua fresca they have that day. So delicious! I would certainly return for more Mexican food when I get the craving. So glad I was finally able to give this place a try. Thanks, Lisa!

Visiting family, my Mom's request was "crunchy taco" lol. She had never had birria tacos so my companion suggested Cielito Lindo since it was in the area. We arrived early in the evening and it was very quiet. The restaurant is cozy, colorful, and somewhat spacious. Ordering is easy as the menu is displayed, you order at the counter, and they call out your number. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes and stayed hot throughout our drive! Service was straightforward and decent. I got my Mom the Quesabirria Tacos. You can order a la carte or a plate, I chose the former and got her three. Though I didn't have any, she enjoyed her first time trying birria. The tacos were crispy, the meat was chunky, and they were massive in size! My companion and I chose to share the Super Burrito with Al Pastor, with No Cheese, and Light Sour Cream. The burrito was huge and I'm glad we shared it as half filled me up. It didn't wow me too much--the meat was way too salty and everything else wasn't seasoned. I'd say go for the birria but there's better options for other items elsewhere. With limited Mexican restaurants in the Richmond, Cielito Lindo stands out in the neighborhood. Easy to find with their blue building, they're located off Balboa with metered and neighborhood parking. I wouldn't mind coming back but to try something else.

This spot and that dish have been on my list for too long. The food was ample, tasty and super photogenic. Having tried only 2 QB tacos so far- I can confidently say that CL's QB is in my top 5 quesobirria tacos.

Yeah this place deserves all the hype. We were in the area and we were starving after walking around Golden Gate Park and this place hit the absolute spot Pretty casual and small but there is good outdoor seating! It's fast casual as well so we placed our order at the counter. We got the full quesabirria taco meal for me and my friend to split and god this was heavenly These were by far some of the best birria tacos I have ever had. They are tender and delicious and the consume was amazing. I would eat these every day Worth the hype and give it a try
